Sembrava proprio il quadro di Van Gogh quel mandorlo in fiore. Sono i primi alberi a fiorire alla fine dell'inverno. Ha nevicato sopra quei primi fiori profumati. Da sempre sono il simbolo della speranza, del ritorno in vita della natura. Ma sfioriscono in fretta, per questo rappresentano anche la delicatezza e la fragilità.
Il vento era gelido e i capelli che per una volta ero riuscita ad arricciare per bene si sono arruffati in un minuto diventando di un liscio spettinato...che tristezza!

Almonds are the first trees to bloom in late winter.
Yesterday it snowed over these first fragrant flowers...
The Almond tree is always been a symbol of hope, the return to life of nature. But its flowers fade quickly, so it also represent the delicacy and fragility.
For once I was able to curl my hair but the cold wind tangled in a minute my hair getting a smooth disheveled ... how sad!

Adoro Van Gogh e se non sbaglio questo quadro o qualcosa di molto simile l'ho visto alla sua mostra un paio d'anni fa...rimasi molto colpita dalla vividezza della pittura, il colore a tocchi fa sembrare le tele tridimensionali! Bellina anche tu, con tutti i capelli scompiglaiti dal vento! :*

How pretty! I haven't seen any almond trees in bloom here. I think we live too far north for them. :-( But I have a print of the van Gogh painting in our bedroom and it really cheers the place up.
